BEST DRIVING BEST SERVICE

My plane was delayed trying to get to the gate. Shuttle 2 driver Hamlet Malik AND customer service had left me a message where my driver was and where he would meet me.

All I had to do was call when I had my bag.

From the time I grabbed my bag to meeting my driver was all of 10-15 min. The time I arrived was 5:15 pm LA rush hour. My driver GOT THERE EARLY because of the traffic AND WAITED 40 MINUTES so he would not be late picking me up.

The ride to my hotel was smooth. You never would have known we were in rush hour.

We kept on moving, in his air conditioned car. I am usually a Nervous Nelly, when someone else is driving, and I have ridden with Huber drivers who have scared the heck out of me,

I relaxed and enjoyed, actually enjoyed the ride through rush hour traffic.

I am SO glad I did not cancel after reading these OLD reviews. I was more than impressed I just had to leave a review!

They cancelled my pickup 30 minutes before schedule and advised that I make other plans to LAX, claiming the driver didn't have room for me in his car. They agreed to reimburse me for alternate plans. I was panicked and could not miss my flight. Once I returned home the reimbursement changed to a discount off another reservation, the live chat agent simply hung up on me and they claimed that the scheduled driver had an accident. (no mention of an accident on the day of my reservation). I didn't bother to check the reviews because I had used Shutte2Lax for years without incident. But after this recent experience and the countess horrible reviews I'm now seeing, I am off their customer list for life. Hope your poor customer service was worth one more negative review to you. Made the reservation for a private van for 7 people (including 2 kids) to be picked up at 8:50pm and I should say that I became so mad at them that for the first time in my life I used some bad words so aggressively that I had NEVER used them. After about 10-15 minutes I called them. About 15 minutes later I was able to talk to someone at 9:20pm and she said that our van would arrive in about 20 minutes or I could cancel my reservation. Having not many options, I agreed to another 20-min wait (meaning that it would arrive about 9:40pm). No van arrived and I called them again around 9:50pm and 10 minutes later (at 10pm) she told me that the van would actually not arrive at all and I should cancel my reservation!!!! I was shocked. This was told to me after waiting for 1 hour and 10 minutes in street. I had two little kids who were cold and sleeping in our laps for being exhausted from the trip and now Im told that the van will not arrive! Can you imagine how angry I was? What am I supposed to do that late in night with two kids and several bags? I rarely write bad reviews, but this company was the WORST EVER that I have worked with in my whole life. I wish I had read the reviews before booking. Dont make my mistake. For the sake of yourself and your family please STAY AWAY from them.

Phone number on website is INCORRECT! Can not connect with Web Chat! Tried to cancel my reservation within 48 hours of making the reservation. Website " Something went wrong try again later" Tried three more times... got same reply. Checked the following day, says reservation cancelled, but will not let me print out a cancellation page. Took a screenshot with my phone ! Charges $5 cancellation fee! My reservation was for 3 months from now!

Expect to wait 3 hours for a pick up

On my way back from LAX, I have to wait over 3 hours to have a pick up from Shuttle to lax company. I have learned that that are not allowed to stop over lax, so they subcontract to small cars people like uber .

Texting the pin

I am trying to set up a pickup for me on your website. I get to the point to put in my phone # and it tells me a text has been sent to my phone I guess to verify my phone #. However, I don’t receive this text and, therefore, am stopped in my tracks from proceeding with the application and payment steps. After my account got hacked, I got an email from Google on my recovery email address stating "your password and recovery email have been changed for the given Google account”. Unfortunately I did not check my hacked and recovery Google account for a month, now none of the recovery method are working. I was wondering if Google had a human in the support system where I could show them the emails I received and hopefully could get my account Details Account Access & Recovery, Android, Gmail

Don't book with this company - They will leave you stranded as they did with me. After a 13 hour flight I followed their instructions to confirm pick up. After no response nor pick up I called them and they gave me the "The driver's van broke down and we're giving you a full refund excuse". They didn't even intend to call me!! I suspect they only way they'll pick you up is if they secure enough customers for the trip you booked. Do not get lured by the cheap fare, this company is run by crooks, stay away!!

Caution people to use "Shuttle2LAX"

The shuttle service was 2 hours late in picking me up for my LAX trip putting me in jeopardy for missing flight. At one point, they indicated that I would have to find alternative transportation.

As I was frantically trying to call a taxi and Uber after midnight, they called me and said the driver would be there soon.

Upon my return to LAX, they instructed me to the pick-up location and indicated that a driver would be there within 40minutes (they advertise 15). After waiting over 40 minutes I called and they told me to find alternative means home. This was in spite of the fact that I paid in advance for round trip transportation.

I had to pay another service $100.00 for my trip home. Furthermore, the driver of the alternative service, stated that this company frequently leaves people to find alternative ways home.

I have filed a complaint with the State Department of Public Protection for services including Shuttles

I don't recommend this company

We have used Shuttle2LAX for several years. They say they book you on any available ride in the category you book.

We usually book shared ride vans as they are most affordable. It has always ended up being Prime Time shuttles. Shuttle2LAX only books/processes prepayments, but the service provided is strictly the company they end up booking you on. We have had generally fair to good results with Prime Time and we saved money by booking through Shuttle2LAX.

However, our most recent experience was so bad, thus the one star. We booked a round trip from HB to LAX and the assigned pick up from home was Prime Time as usual. Our return arrival at LAX was after 10PM on March 22, 2018 and they said the shared ride vans don't run after 10PM, so they booked us a private sedan with ExecuCar and the cost was over twice as much. We agreed, because they said it was only option after 10PM.

When we arrived at LAX we contacted to see where we would meet our car. The driver usually texts us with message regarding pick up. There was no message, so I contacted Shuttle2LAX. After having me on hold for 15 minutes, they came back on the line and said, "sorry, due to technical difficulties, all rides with ExecuCar had been cancelled".

I was advised to make my own arrangements to get home and my money I had prepaid would be refunded. Taxi was over $100 and so was Uber. I noticed Super Shuttle was still there even though I had been advised that shared rides end at 10PM. By now it was after midnight.

There were 7 of us total just at terminal 5 who were stranded without our promised prepaid rides with ExecuCar. Who knows how many throughout LAX. Anyway, Super Shuttle to the rescue. They took us all in one van and my rate was only $49 which was half what we paid for ExecuCar.

We didn't get home until 3 AM, but were very grateful to get home at all that night.

I have been in contact with Shuttle2LAX regarding the refund of my money, but it has been 9 days and still no refund. I'd say, be very cautious about this company.

The best worst service that I have got from shuttle2lax. Even customer service is useless completely. They are there. That is it. This is not for serving customers and it messup with customers. I don’t know how it works with others. However I won’t suggest anyone to use this service. If you do so then you are gone. Forget about your peace and happiness with your trip.

Arrived at LAX around 6:25 pm Scheduled to be picked up by 7:10 pm Called the dispatcher and let them know I was already outside the airport. Lady told me it would be 15 more minutes. 30 minutes later I called the dispatcher again and she said another 15 minutes. The company representative at the airport was trying to be as helpful as possible but there was nothing he could do as the dispatcher is the one that sends out the drivers for pick ups. Finally picked me up at 8:03 pm and the driver drove all around the airport passing the pick up point one more time. We finally exited the airport at 8:20 pm The driver said that we were lucky he only went around the airport once as he could have gone around two more times. This was never mentioned when I booked the reservation online. If I had known, I would not have chosen this company. The company does not care that the customer has to wait for a long time at the airport. The main concern is to pick up as many passengers to make as much money as possible at one time without caring for the one or two passengers that are waiting at the airport to be picked up. The last thing you want is to be left waiting to be picked up at the airport after a long trip.
